Coming from a family of teachers and entrepreneurs, Boudewijn Kryne founded Kryne Bedrijfsopvolging, a SF to take over the baton of a single profitable Dutch SME and build upon what has been created by the previous owner. He is supported by a group of 15 experienced Dutch and international investors, including Istria Capital, Ambit Partners, INSETA Partners, Forti SF Partners, Endurance Search Partners, JB46, The Cromwell Harbor, MaasInvest, Spectra Investments, Legate Partners, and Novidam, among others.
Boudewijn Kryne is an entrepreneur and operator with a background in strategy, technology, and digital growth. He started his career at Boston Consulting Group, where he advised multinational companies, healthcare institutions, and nonprofits on strategy, data analytics, pricing, and digital transformation initiatives across Europe. He later joined Team Liquid, one of the world’s leading esports organizations, where he led a team of more than 60 people and was responsible for the company’s digital products and fan engagement platforms. Under his leadership, platforms such as Liquipedia and Liquid+ achieved significant international growth and industry recognition. Boudewijn also holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
As a driven entrepreneur, he aims to acquire a stable and profitable Dutch SME with €1-6M in EBITDA, primarily focused on B2B activities. His investment thesis is to target industries with strong long-term growth trends and identify tech service providers operating within those sectors. He will begin his search with a focus on MedTech and adjacent industries, leveraging his background and experience, while remaining sector-agnostic over time given the relatively limited size of the Dutch market.
