Anthony Trinh is a first-generation Vietnamese American whose parents immigrated to the U.S. in pursuit of the American Dream and built a small business from the ground up—one that continues to operate today. Witnessing their hard work instilled in him an early appreciation for the grit and dedication required to build something lasting. This inspired him to launch Fairground Partners, through which he plans to serve as the owner-operator of the U.S. business he will acquire.
He is supported by a world-class team of 20 entrepreneurs and investors, including Trilogy Search Partners, Futaleufu Partners, Relay Investments, TTCER Partners, Legate Partners, BK Growth, Search Fund Partners, Mosaic ETA, Streetlight Capital, Datacor, and Sand Dollar Capital, among others.
Anthony spent the past three years at Mainsail Partners, a growth equity firm focused on bootstrapped, founder-led vertical SaaS and tech-enabled services businesses. He worked across the full investment lifecycle—sourcing, diligence, and portfolio management—completing over $500M in transaction value across acquisitions, sales, and add-on transactions. This experience gave him a front-row seat to what makes small businesses thrive and ultimately motivated him to run one himself. Prior to that, he worked in real estate private equity at BGO and Deutsche Finance America, where he evaluated and executed investments across a range of asset classes. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology and an M.S. in Sustainability Science and Practice from Stanford University.
