Wiest Mittelstandspartner, the SF launched by Tobias Wiest at the end of 2023, has successfully acquired Dedicom GmbH, a software company specializing in IT hardware accessibility. The deal saw participation from 12 investors, including well-known institutional backers such as Ethos Partners, Search Fund Club, and Moonbase Capital, or private investors such as Frank Kenny or Felipe Ruiz.
Dedicom stands as a leading software provider facilitating tax-advantaged IT leasing for employers, alongside tailored hardware solutions for their workforce. With a remarkable historical annual growth rate of approximately 20% and a staff of 90 employees, Dedicom represents an appealing and highly profitable growth opportunity. The company has a turnover of around €100M, with an EBITDA of about €5M, and the EV was under 4x EBITDA.
Tobias, who has concluded his search phase in record time, comments that Dedicom’s story exemplifies a classic succession scenario, thriving in a rapidly expanding market ripe with substantial growth prospects.
