After over 15 years of international experience across fintech and financial services, Daniel Martínez has launched Volata Capital, an operator-led search fund focused on acquiring a single Italian SME. He is backed by a group of experienced, long-term investors, including Innesto Partners, Orca Equity Partners, TTCER Partners, Alza Capital Partners, Endurance Search Partners, Cerralvo Capital, Jürgen Rilling, Legacy Partners, and Ruiz Family Office.
Daniel spent most of his career in Mexico, holding management roles across finance, operations, project management, and human resources at organizations such as ISSSTE, PTS, Converse, and the fintech company Resuelve tu Deuda. Over the past five years, he built the Italian branch of Bravo from the ground up, growing revenues from zero to €10M, assembling a team of 160 people, and achieving profitability in less than two years. This hands-on operating experience allowed him to engage closely with every aspect of corporate life—including customers, suppliers, institutional relationships, finance, accounting, HR, operations, and strategic decision-making—preparing him to acquire and lead a high-quality company.
He seeks strong, well-established companies with solid foundations and clear growth potential. His focus is on stable and reputable businesses operating in fragmented markets with opportunities for consolidation, characterized by predictable performance, recurring revenues, and a clear competitive advantage. He values healthy financials, proven historical growth, solid cash generation, motivated management teams, and diversified client bases.
