Serial entrepreneur Francis Cohen has partnered with Novastone Capital Advisors and a group of high-net-worth individuals to launch Transmitium, a SF focused on acquiring and operating a French SME. Among the investors supporting this new venture are Indigo Properties Fund, an investment vehicle dedicated to small SaaS ventures; Jean-Baptiste Rudelle; Stéphane Rocchiccioli; Frederik Tubiermont; Creative AG; and Ralf Grass, a pioneer in renewable energy.
Francis Cohen brings over two decades of entrepreneurial expertise to the table. He began his career in 1994 with GCTECH, Europe’s first micropayment solution startup, before joining Arthur D. Little as a Strategy Consultant. In 1999, he launched his entrepreneurial journey, founding and co-founding several European VC-backed startups in e-commerce, software, and services. Notable ventures include SIEN Solutions, Ividence (acquired by ADL Performance in 2020), LESS (acquired by Blablacar in 2018), and AdaptiveBee (acquired by Tempest.com in 2018). Most recently, in 2022, he joined Antler as a Venture Partner.
Transmitium is targeting profitable companies in the ICT sector with revenues in the €5–50M range and EBITDA between €2–10M. The venture aims to leverage Francis Cohen’s expertise in technology and innovation management to create long-term value. His focus lies in software, innovative industries, and environmental impact. While the primary search area is France, opportunities in Belgium and Spain will also be considered.
