Juan Rshaid and Jaime Huerga have left their careers to launch Tesela Capital with the objective of acquiring a Spanish SME and dedicating themselves exclusively to growing it. To finance their search, they have gathered the support of Alza Capital Partners, JB46, Inseta Partners, Mira Blau, Valmaris Private Investors, Innesto Partners, Orca, Legacy Partners, ONEtoONE Asset Management and Colca Capital.
Both graduated from Esade in 2015 and bring highly complementary profiles, combining deal-making and operational capabilities. Juan began his career in the M&A team at Barclays in London before joining OCI Global, where he led investment transactions, corporate development and M&A initiatives totaling more than $16B. He also spent two years as a Partner at Aticus Corporate Advisors. Jaime led the launch of Amazon Business in Spain and previously managed large-scale commercial operations at P&G.
They are looking to acquire a well-established Spanish SME in order to ensure business continuity and actively lead its operational management. Target companies should have a proven and profitable business model, with €2–7M EBITDA and €10–50M in annual turnover, demonstrating solid financial performance and positive cash flow. They are sector-agnostic, with a focus on companies in industry, services, distribution or technology, particularly those with recurring revenue and a loyal customer base.
