Tasman Succession breaks into the Dutch market

Founded by Alex Gready & Berend Westerveld, Tasman Succession is the first partnered search dedicated to the Netherlands. The two entrepreneurs, with a solid background in finance, law, sales, and management, have raised €600k from 19 investors, including institutions such as Ambit Partners, Ethos Partners, JB46, Kinderhook Partners, Novidam, and Scipio Holding.

They will focus their search on finding companies with high growth potential and a strong middle management team in various industries: Business Services, Software, or Real Estate Services, with an enterprise value ranging between €3M to €30M.

Alex’s comment: “We believe that there are approximately 30,000 companies in the Netherlands that meet our criteria regarding size. We anticipate strong competition from private equity firms for companies with EBITDA greater than €3M. Therefore, we have decided to initially concentrate our search on companies below this range.”
