At the end of 2023, Alex Gready and Berend Westerveld launched Tasman Succession with the support of Ambit Partners, Ethos Partners, JB46, Kinderhook Partners, Novidam, Scipio Holding, and numerous private investors. After less than two years of searching, the team has acquired Zeker & Mobiel, one of the leading plumbing companies in the Netherlands. While the deal details were not disclosed, the transaction is estimated to be valued at under €20M.
With more than 25 years of experience, Zeker & Mobiel operates in the plumbing sector, offering subscription-based service contracts for unclogging drains, toilets, and sewers, with a 24-hour response time. The company has over 65 employees across the country, generates approximately €9M in annual revenue, and maintains an EBITDA margin of around 30%. It is the largest private unclogging service provider in the Netherlands.
The searchers were particularly attracted to the company’s recurring revenue model, supported by a customer base of over 60,000 active subscribers.
