Financial and private equity expert Wojciech Bujas has just announced the launch of Sustinere, a Polish search fund. As the founder explained, the name comes from Latin and means “to support,” “to sustain,” or “to ensure continuity.” In a business context, this reflects the intention to preserve a company’s heritage, employees, culture and values, reputation, and relationships with business partners, while maintaining sustainable growth.
He is backed by numerous international investors, including Istria Capital, Relay Investments Europe, Innesto Partners, TTCER Partners, Cabiedes Inversiones, Dr. Gernot Eisinger, Dr. Thomas Buehler, James Simmons, Juergen Rilling, Jürgen von Wendorff, Mariusz Banaszuk, among others.
Aerospace engineer Wojciech brings more than 12 years of professional experience in finance. He began his career as a trader at X-Trade Brokers before joining PE firm Warsaw Equity Group. He then spent over seven years at Value Quest, a Polish PE fund focused on mid-market companies, where he was involved in end-to-end equity investment processes, portfolio management, and stakeholder engagement.
Following his MBA at INSEAD, he transitioned into management roles, serving as CFO and COO in manufacturing and service companies such as Ceramika Podkarpacka (a manufacturer of high-quality ceramic bricks), Marketlab (a RetailTech company), and Banieczka (a self-service car wash chain).
Sustinere is currently seeking to acquire a Polish company in the B2B services, B2B distribution, B2B production, or software sector.
