Andrea Agnolio and Enrico Ghio met in the U.S. during their MBA at Chicago Booth. Years later, after careers spanning healthcare strategy, operations, and corporate finance, and driven by their entrepreneurial spirit, they began discussing the medical aesthetics sector, a fast-growing but increasingly complex and fragmented industry. They identified the need for stronger governance, higher standards, and long-term thinking in a space that was becoming more regulated and demanding greater accountability. After raising capital from a select group of experienced private investors (including ETA investors Paulo Guida and SFClub), they founded Skingevity to combine clinical excellence with institutional discipline, creating a long-term platform built on governance, trust, and sustainable growth.
Headquartered in London, the group is now a reality, with the acquisition of its first three leading UK clinics, each recognized for clinical excellence and strong patient relationships: Dr Joney De Souza Skin and Laser Clinic (Marylebone, London), led by its namesake doctor, is renowned for its “less is more” approach to aesthetics, delivering refined, natural results shaped over 20 years of practice. MediZen (Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham), founded in 1999 and led by Dr David Eccleston, is one of the UK’s longest-established aesthetic clinics, defined by nearly three decades of expertise and a strong focus on safety, education, and clinical excellence. Cannelle Skin Clinic (Summertown, Oxford) brings over 20 years of trusted client relationships and is now led by rising talent Dr Mattia Parducci, combining heritage care with modern aesthetics.
Skingevity allows each clinic to retain its own name, leadership, and clinical approach while ensuring uninterrupted patient care. It provides the infrastructure, governance, and operational support that reduce administrative burdens for practitioners. Its central operating team works closely with clinics to improve efficiency and drive growth, while upholding high standards of care and patient experience across all locations. This model preserves strong doctor–patient relationships and combines the personalized feel of boutique clinics with the consistency, reassurance, and long-term oversight of a professionally managed medical aesthetics group. Although these first three acquisitions are UK-based, the group has clear international ambitions.
Andrea Agnolio, Co-CEO and Chief Operating Officer of Skingevity, said: “Skingevity was created to support outstanding clinics without compromising what makes them exceptional. In a sector that is becoming increasingly complex and regulated, we believe doctors need institutional support without losing clinical independence.” Enrico Ghio, Co-CEO and Chief Financial Officer of Skingevity, added:
“Our focus is long-term value based on patient trust. We are building a group where decisions are driven by medical excellence, clinical outcomes, and responsible governance – ensuring sustainable, high-quality growth.”
