Pere Hospital is undoubtedly one of the most successful entrepreneurs in Spain. In 2012, he launched Cloudways, bootstrapped the company with an investment of only $66K, and transformed it into a leader in the global hosting platform space, achieving an AAR of $55M in a decade. In 2022, with over 60,000 global customers, Cloudways was sold to DigitalOcean for $350M.
In the last few years, Pere decided to launch a family office to assist other founders in building world-class companies, focusing on investing in the early stages (pre-seed & seed). In 2023, he embarked on an incursion into the SF industry, supporting entrepreneurs in Germany, Italy, Singapore, and Spain. Enthralled by the SF model, he aims to join the key players in the sector and has decided to invest €15M in the coming years. Specifically, Secways has set a goal to back around 40 searchers in 2024 and another 25 the following year, with the aim of building a portfolio of approximately 20-25 deals in the next 2-3 years. The average investment per transaction is expected to be around €500k, and the focus is worldwide.
