Financier Darko M. Kajevik chose the name Quaerite Capital for his SF, inspired by the Latin phrase “Quaerite et invenietis,” meaning “seek and you shall find.” The name reflects his philosophy and his belief that exceptional businesses are more than just assets, they are legacies that deserve to be carried forward with care, not flipped or forgotten.
He is backed by a select group of experienced and values-aligned investors, including Blue Frame Capital Partners, Associés Magnum Capital Partners, Heritage Holding, Streetlight Capital, Integral Private Wealth, The Operand Group, Ventura Search Capital, Gestalt Capital, Vonzeo Capital, as well as operators such as Brett Sleyster, Michael Horowitz, Nicolás Lulli, Jens Thorsen, Srdjan Vukovic, Christopher Hillier, and Kingchih Fan.
Darko brings over 15 years of experience in finance and investment. He began his career as an Analyst at Bank of America before spending more than seven years at a family office. Over the past four years, he has worked in leveraged finance, first at TD Bank Group and then at SMBC Group. A former professional athlete, Darko has worked across various industries, analyzing companies and supporting business transitions.
His mission is to acquire and lead one exceptional small business in the United States, one built on strong fundamentals, guided by values, and positioned for long-term growth. He is particularly drawn to sectors such as industrial services, supply chain and logistics, and healthcare.
