Private equity expert Francesco Revel-Sillamoni has announced the closing of Solferino Capital, his Italian SF, with a global base of over 25 investors, all high-profile entrepreneurs, families, executives, and institutions from Europe, North and South America, and the Middle East. Some of his investors include Relay Investments, Istria Capital, ONEtoONE Asset Management, JB46, Search Fund Capital, AKIRO Partners, and Albira Investments.
Francesco Revel-Sillamoni has a long and successful track record in the investment industry. He has made majority investments and has been a director of SMEs in Italy, France, and the Benelux region on behalf of the private equity funds Ardian and Apax Partners. This has allowed him to gain solid experience in the world of Italian SMEs, having worked in close contact with the CEOs and key managers of the supported companies, helping them to carry out strategic projects and create value. Previously, he began his career in London, working as an analyst for investment banks such as Lehman Brothers and Morgan Stanley. He is a graduate of ESCP Europe and holds an MBA from the Wharton School.
