Rafael Herrmann de Castro Camargo has founded Pharus Succession to identify, acquire, and manage a successful Iberian company, with a primary focus on Portugal. He has secured the support of numerous private investors and family offices, including Cabiedes Inversiones, Xavier Pladellorens, Javier Martin Chocarro, Sergio Garnica, Jean-Jacques Walravens, Sergio Monte, Pierre Paul Benoit (LeFonds), Alex Tuya, Patrick Bosch, Matthieu Burnand-Galpin, Iñaki Balduz, Rob Harrington, Loris Lanzellotti, LEN Investments, William Mairs, and Hakuba Capital Management.
Rafael is an experienced business leader and entrepreneur with a strong track record across Europe and Latin America, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution in diverse industries including tech, consumer goods, real estate and education. His most recent role was Managing Partner at Stunning Goods SL. Previously, Rafael led Sales & Business Development for Spain and Portugal at FreewayCamper, served as MBA Program Lead at Adidas, and held leadership roles at IESE Business School, Upper Investments, and The Kraft Heinz Company. Earlier in his career, he founded and managed Brasilis United and Manto Football in Brazil, building successful football apparel brands, licensing partnerships, and nationwide distribution networks. He holds an MBA from IESE Business School.
He will search for a healthy, cash-flowing SME with outstanding human capital and a strong company culture. Ideally based in Portugal, his preferred sectors include distribution, B2B services, and niche manufacturing.
