Having grown up in a family business, Melda understands the raw reality of running a company—the wins, the setbacks, and the resilience required. She has successfully scaled businesses globally and has an extensive deal-making background. She began her career in investment banking at Citi in Turkey, before joining the strategy consulting firm Singular Group, working in Germany and South Africa. While pursuing her MBA at INSEAD, she interned at Rocket Internet. Since 2020, she has led the international expansion of Getir, principally in Europe and the US. Throughout her career, Melda has gained significant experience across a mix of modern and established sectors, including technology, logistics, real estate, and industrial services.
She is seeking an established B2B services company with annual revenues between £5–25M, ideally characterized by highly recurring or predictable income streams. The business should be profitable, with healthy margins supported by exceptional products or services, and driven by a strong, experienced management team alongside a dedicated workforce. She values companies that demonstrate consistent revenue growth and clear potential for future expansion, particularly in sectors where offerings are mission-critical to clients.
