Rym is an experienced operations executive with more than 15 years of leadership across manufacturing, industrial operations, and infrastructure projects in Canada. Throughout her career, she has managed four manufacturing facilities, led multi-site teams of up to 120 employees per plant, and driven operational excellence, business transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives. She has a proven track record of delivering outstanding results, including turning around a manufacturing plant to achieve multi-million-dollar EBITDA within months and leading the strongest financial performance in a decade at one of Canada’s largest manufacturing facilities. Earlier in her career, she held senior engineering and operational leadership roles at SNC-Lavalin, overseeing airport baggage system operations for major international airports. She also gained research experience in bioengineering and nanotechnology at McGill University, where she co-authored several peer-reviewed scientific publications. She holds an MBA from HEC Montréal.
She is seeking to acquire an established, profitable Canadian business with $2-8M of EBITDA, a strong management team, and a solid operating history—one where continuity of leadership and long-term stewardship are valued. Her primary focus is on B2B services and light manufacturing businesses, with particular interest in the food and beverage, water and wastewater, and airport services sectors.
