Lia Weiner-Tsur and Osher Shalev have teamed up to launch Kerem Capital, a new duo SF in Israel. Both entrepreneurs have secured backing from numerous international investors, including Ambit Partners, TTCER Partners, Cerralvo Capital, BK Growth, Hunter Search Capital, Liberty Search Ventures, Brown Robin Partners, as well as experienced Israeli business advisors including Yoram Tietz, Liat Aaronson, Gideon Argov and Omer Ben Shach (BM Holdings).
Lia is a seasoned builder and operator, specializing in the intersection of Israeli and US business. She has an impressive background, having served in a top-secret intelligence unit in the Israeli Defense Forces, worked at The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, and at the Supreme Court of Israel. She then moved on to become the Head of Research for Start-up Nation, before co-founding Quai.MD, an AI-based platform that helps doctors diagnose patients accurately in real-time. Additionally, she has experience as a Project Manager at Tesla and as an investor at early-stage VC firm Netz Capital. Osher has led teams and special operations for over a decade as a commander in “Sayeret Matkal” in the Israeli Defense Forces. In 2021, he co-founded ReShuffle, an edtech company that offers a holistic English learning platform, combining an engaging digital experience with well-being-driven offline activities.
They are looking for a consistently profitable medium-sized business, doing at least $1M EBITDA.
