After 15 years as an officer and fighter pilot in the Brazilian Air Force, Rodrigo Giarola spent 5 years in strategic consulting at McKinsey before launching Longati Capital, a SF backed by Allievo Capital, Kviv Ventures, KYR Capital, Spectra Investments, TMB3 Fund, Henrique Morgatto, Paulo de Tarso Pellon, Ambit Partners, JB46, Novidam, Cabiedes Inversiones, the Ruiz family, and William Thorndike. In less than 15 months, he successfully completed the majority acquisition of CAF Máquinas.
Founded in 1948 and based in Rio Claro (SP), CAF is recognized in the market for its solutions in the food industry, especially in the butcher sector. The company produces a complete line of equipment and accessories for domestic, commercial, and industrial use for butchers, bakeries, supermarkets, cold-storage facilities, and industrial kitchens. It has a solid customer base and a highly qualified team, standing out for the quality of its products and its commitment to generating value.
After more than seven decades as a family business, the company has reached its third generation, and all partners will remain involved. Renato Olivato becomes Director of Expansion and New Business, and Elisa Frederich remains Director of People and Management, ensuring stability and continuity for customers and partners.
