Claire Nesler started her career in 2013 in New York as an investor at The Cranemere Group, one of the first funds structured as an industrial holding company with an indefinite investment horizon. The benefits of permanent capital to owners and management were apparent, and she vowed she would build something for the long term one day. She moved to London in 2018 to continue investing in best-in-class consumer businesses at Lion Capital before gaining small company experience working inside a rapidly growing, multi-site consumer business. In 2023, she teamed up with Yoni Wehbe, who has a solid background in consulting and investment banking at BCG and Morgan Stanley, to launch York Street, a SF with the mission to buy and build great businesses for the long term.
A few weeks ago, the two Harvard Business School alumni established Kinetico Health with the intention to build the leading group of private clinics specializing in musculoskeletal care in the UK. They have just bought their first two clinics: Good Health Centre and The Waldegrave Clinic. The operation was backed by various investors, including, among others, Lacey Wismer (Hunter Search Capital), Kent Weaver (Granite Point Partners), Courtney Ellenbogen, and Ed Butler.
Established in 1990, Good Health Centre specializes in the provision of integrated health services, combining conventional medicine with complementary therapies. With a team of 13 professionals, Good Health Centre offers a range of treatments, including osteopathy, acupuncture, and physiotherapy. A family-owned practice founded in 1972, The Waldegrave Clinic is a multi-disciplinary practice that offers patient-tailored treatments in chiropractic, physiotherapy, and podiatry therapies.
Claire Nesler, Co-Founder of Kinetico Health, commented: “We are thrilled to be launching our group by partnering with two fantastic clinics that have been providing exceptional patient care for decades thanks to their teams of experienced practitioners. We look forward to making many more transactions in the sector.”
