Supported by the Nomura Securities Group and the Japan Search Fund Accelerator, the SF of JSPF searcher Shigemitsu Kikuchi has entered into an agreement to acquire Napper Inc. and Nisshin Jitsugyo Corp., companies involved in the design, manufacturing, and sales of corporate uniforms and workwear.
Founded in 1961, Napper has been planning, manufacturing, and selling uniforms in Japan for more than 60 years. Through long-standing relationships and a strong track record, the company has earned deep trust from its customers and built a solid customer base.
Searcher Shigemitsu Kikuchi has led the transformation of various companies through his previous experience at general trading firms and operating companies. He decided to take over Napper to drive its next stage of growth, stating: “Napper provides uniforms for a wide range of companies, from SMEs to major corporations. Beyond workability and functionality, uniforms are becoming increasingly important as tools for corporate branding and employee engagement. To meet ongoing changes, including shifts in society, work styles and values, global warming, technological innovation, and environmental and legal compliance, we will further refine Napper’s strengths in business, operations, and proposal capabilities. Our aim is to become a company that customers want to do business with and where people want to work, ensuring we can continue serving many clients well into the future.”
