The number of “incubators,” investment platforms, and Entrepreneur-in-Residence programs continues to grow in Germany. Among the latest entrants, OLTA is building an active platform for successor-led investing that combines institutional discipline with entrepreneurial execution.
OLTA embeds itself within each investment, offering hands-on, on-the-ground support not only during the early stages of the SF journey but also throughout the operational phase to drive growth and professionalization. To execute this model, the platform complements searchers with professionals who bring extensive experience in infrastructure, PE, and ETA. Their continued involvement and strong network provide OLTA-backed companies with access to seasoned investors, industry experts, and proven best practices, accelerating performance and creating long-term value.
Founded by Talu Hakverdi, OLTA has launched OLTA SF1, its first successor-led vehicle dedicated to acquiring and scaling a profitable, asset-light SME that enables and sustains Germany’s essential infrastructure. The fund will be led by Maximilian Gorzelitz, a graduate of RWTH Aachen University, who brings over seven years of experience in industrial and energy-related sectors. He previously led cross-border automation initiatives at Würth Group and played a key role in building hellgrün Energie as its second full-time employee.
OLTA SF1 is now open to investors who share the firm’s conviction in long-term, infrastructure-driven ownership.
Germany sits at the crossroads of two defining trends: a widening succession gap across its Mittelstand and a €1.9 trillion infrastructure renewal cycle, fueled by historic public and private capital inflows. OLTA’s strategy targets the intersection of both, identifying, acquiring, and growing established businesses that underpin the country’s critical infrastructure. OLTA SF1 marks the first step in this thesis, focusing on acquiring a profitable, asset-light business well positioned to benefit from these transformative dynamics.
