Founded by Patrick Steuer, G3X Capital is a Brazil-focused SF dedicated to acquiring and operating a single high-quality mid-sized business. The SF’s mission is to ensure long-term continuity while unlocking the next phase of growth. Backed by a group of experienced international investors, including Alza Capital, BM Holdings, Cromwell Harbor, Istria Capital, JB46, Kinderhook, Martell Capital Partners, Mazal Capital, Nidum Capital, Spectra Investimentos, Ventus Capital, and Vonzeo Capital, Patrick is now fully dedicated to G3X’s mission.
Patrick brings a strong combination of strategic and operational experience. Previously, he was a Partner at Bain & Company, where he advised CEOs and investors on growth strategy, operational performance, and complex M&A transactions across Brazil and Latin America. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Johnson & Johnson. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a degree in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo (FEA-USP).
G3X Capital focuses on well-established Brazilian businesses with a proven track record, loyal customer relationships, and resilient and predictable cash flows. The firm is particularly drawn to companies that have built strong foundations over time and are now at an inflection point—where additional structure, strategic focus, and further professionalization can unlock a new phase of development. Priority sectors include B2B services, healthcare-related services, education, industrial niches, and technology-enabled businesses.
Brazil presents a compelling opportunity for the SF model. The country has a large base of profitable, privately held SMEs facing succession challenges, often with limited access to structured capital and operational support. At the same time, many of these businesses operate in fragmented sectors with significant room for consolidation and professionalization.
