Named after the famous Norwegian polar exploration vessel “Fram”, it embodies the same values of resilience, careful preparation, and strategic navigation through challenging environments to acquire a unique Scandinavian SME. Fram Kapital is backed by 15 stellar investors—30% from Norway and 70% international—including Henrik Lie-Nielsen, Ulrik Trolle, Grafo, Erlend Prestgard, Thomas Vikenes, Nikolai Bratsberg, Herbert Doleisch, Till Bossert & Alexander Kirn, Gernot Eisinger & Thomas Bühler, Ambit Partners, Innesto Partners, Istria Capital, JB46, TTCER, and Lineage Partners.
Halvor has extensive experience in management consulting and entrepreneurship, with a background at McKinsey & Company and Boston Consulting Group. He has worked extensively in private equity, recycling, and business building. Additionally, he has founded several companies, including a waste sensor company and a mobile charging company, and launched three festivals in Norway, managing over 200 volunteers across six years.
Maja brings deep expertise in PE and management consulting, having worked at leading firms such as Summa Equity, Boston Consulting Group, and Goldman Sachs. She has a strong background in energy transition and technology and has previously founded companies. Her passion lies at the intersection of investment, impact, and business building.
Headquartered in Oslo (Norway), Fram Kapital aims to acquire a well-established business with strong foundations and sustainable competitive advantages, where strategic improvements can be introduced for long-term growth. Their target company should have an EBITDA between €1M and €6M, double-digit profit margins, a strong company culture, and a capable team.
