Over the past 15 years, Christabel Kim has helped B2B services and technology companies grow. Having grown up in a family business, she developed an appreciation for entrepreneurship from an early age. She has now launched Flora Partners to acquire one exceptional, profitable, and established business from a current owner who is ready to pass the baton. She is backed by Pacific Lake Partners, Futaleufu Partners, Sage Capital Partners, BDC Thrive ETA Fund, Ambit Partners, Innesto Partners, BK Growth, Partner Ventures, Archipelago Capital Partners, and Maple Tree Capital.
Christabel is an experienced entrepreneur, product leader, and customer-focused operator with a strong background in technology and innovation. She was the Founding Head of Customer at Secoda (YC21), where she built the company’s first post-sales organization across Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Support, before its acquisition by Atlassian. Previously, she founded Boost, a B2B sales technology company, and was a Founder in Residence at Antler. Her earlier experience includes leadership roles at Amazon Web Services, where she worked across digital innovation, product development, and professional services, as well as product management at Owl.co and consulting at EY and Kroll. She also contributed to the development of the UN Sustainable Development Goals while working with the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations.
Small and medium-sized businesses are the flora of our economy: diverse, resilient, and critical. She is seeking to acquire and operate one business services or niche vertical software company, built by an entrepreneur who is thinking about what comes next. She focuses on B2B businesses, including tech-enabled services, professional training and licensing, and SaaS, with $1M–$10M in EBITDA.
