Rodrigo Giarola has announced the launch of Longati Capital, a firm dedicated to acquiring and leading a high-potential company in Brazil. The SF is backed by several prestigious Brazilian investment funds, including Allievo Capital, Kviv Ventures, KYR Capital, Spectra Investments, and TMB3 Fund, along with private investors such as Henrique Morgatto and Paulo de Tarso Pellon. On the international front, Longati Capital is supported by Ambit Partners, JB46, Novidam, Cabiedes Inversiones, the Ruiz family, and William Thorndike.
Rodrigo began his career in the Brazilian Air Force, where he served for over 15 years as an officer and fighter pilot at various locations across Brazil. In the past five years, he worked in strategic consulting at McKinsey, focusing on strategy, digital, and operations across projects in Brazil, the United States, and Asia (Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia). He holds a degree in Mechanical-Aeronautical Engineering from the Aeronautical Institute of Technology in São José dos Campos and an MBA from INSEAD in France.
Longati Capital seeks companies with recurring or predictable revenue, low single-digit customer churn, long-term secular growth tailwinds in their industry, significant cash flow generation, and the potential for sustainable growth. “Following previous Brazilian acquisitions as a benchmark and starting point, I tend to focus on SaaS/Technology, rental services, or industrial service companies,” commented Rodrigo.
