Chris Sullivan and Miki Ljuboja have joined forces to acquire, operate, and grow a single outstanding American small business for the long term. They have launched Hope Street Capital with the backing of a group of seasoned investors, operators, and entrepreneurs who have a proven track record of scaling exceptional companies. Chris began his career at Kaufman Hall, a healthcare consulting firm, where he advised hospitals and health systems on growth strategies and financial planning. He later joined Shore Capital Partners as an investment professional, supporting portfolio companies in the healthcare and business services sectors. During his time at Shore, Chris played a central role in executing over 25 strategic acquisitions, contributed to capital raising efforts across several portfolio companies, and worked closely with management teams to drive long-term value creation. Chris holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a BA from Brown University.
Miki was a Senior Associate at Kingfish Group, where he led co-investment and commercial due diligence initiatives in partnership with top-tier private equity firms. His responsibilities included sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities in business services and technology, developing investor-facing materials, and overseeing project teams across multiple engagements. Earlier in his career, he launched and scaled the healthcare vertical at Tegus, playing a key role in driving the company’s rapid ARR growth. He began his professional journey in the NBA as a player development associate with the Sacramento Kings. Miki holds a BA from Brown University and an MS in Business Analytics from DePaul University.
They are seeking a stable, profitable business in healthcare, B2B or consumer services, or vertical SaaS, led by a team that values its people and legacy. Ideal candidates generate $2–10M in annual pre-tax profit (or $3–6M in ARR for software), have a history of recurring revenue and strong margins, low customer concentration, and a leadership team committed to a smooth transition.
