Augusto Meirelles, a former professional tennis player with a background in investment banking at Itaú BBA and the founder of the fintech CashGO (which successfully exited in 2022), has joined forces with Flávia Bicalho to launch Carta Investimentos. Flavia boasts a robust financial background, having worked in M&A and PE for Patria Investimentos and JP Morgan, as well as in Corporate Venture for Itaú, before embarking on an entrepreneurial journey in the Fine Art market.
Together, they have successfully attracted prestigious investors from three continents, including American investors such as Kinderhook Partners and Will Thorndike, as well as European investors like Sentinel Capital, Inversiones Cabiedes, Tres Coronas Capital, or Rafael & Felipe Ruiz. In Latin America, they have garnered support from notable backers such as Spectra Investments, KVIV, KYR Capital, 9T Capital or Cerralvo Capital, among others.
Their primary focus is on identifying Brazilian companies with revenues ranging from R$70 million to R$150 million, an Ebitda margin exceeding 15%, and substantial growth potential.
