With over four decades of combined experience in management, technology consulting, financial services, and entrepreneurship, the team brings a diverse set of skills and perspectives to the table.
They have successfully raised US$600k, divided into 12 units, from investors both within Brazil (40%) and abroad (60%). Their backers include institutions such as Novidam and private investors Flavio Guimarães, Daniel Bleckmann, Karen Spencer, Lucas Pinheiro, Mauricio Tashima, Alex Klyguine, Oscar Arregui, Joachim Von Goetz, Bruno D’Ambriosio, Jose D’Almeida and Paulo de Tarso Pellon, and former searcher Rene Almeida, who is currently co-CEO of Voke, known today as the most successful search fund case in Brazil.
Target industries for their acquisition include agribusiness, renewable energy, healthcare, and construction, with a focus on the Northeast of Brazil and São Paulo State. They are looking for an ideal company valued between US$10M and US$25M. The seasoned team, Osvaldo (46 years) and Newton (47), will work closely during the search, with Osvaldo serving as the principal partner and future manager of the acquired company. Meanwhile, Newton will continue his primary role as the fund manager of Newton Equity Partners.
