Antonino Emanuele and Carla Abis, a couple in life and now also in business, have officially launched Big Tower Group, a traditional SF based in Milan. After months of fundraising challenges, they succeeded in securing support from 20+ institutional and private investors, entrepreneurs, and former searchers, both Italian and international, including Domenico Cavaliere, Javier González Tovar, Eduardo Bartolomeo, Paolo Guida, João Diogo Stoffel, Kirill Silkin, Tim Buckman, Chiara Altamura, Lorenza Morandini, Vagner Morais, Gabriele Pompa, Simone Viola, Carlo de Giacomo, Kareem Hammoudeh. They are now focused on acquiring a successful Italian business, where they plan to take an active management role. Their motto is: “A family for a family business”.
Antonino, after early entrepreneurial experiences, has spent over eight years in M&A advisory, corporate finance, transfer pricing and private equity, working with financial boutiques, consulting firms, investment funds, and industrial groups. He began his financial career at AIFI as a private equity analyst and later joined Baker McKenzie. In 2022, he moved to London, gaining experience at Applied Equity Partners, Trillium Flow Technologies, and Dune Advisors. In 2024, after discovering the SF model at Cassandra Investments, he decided to launch Big Tower Group. He holds a Master’s in Finance from London Business School.
Carla brings over six years of local and international experience in sales & marketing and business development, having led complex internationalization and growth projects for both industrial groups and SMEs. She began her career at Emotional Pubblicità in Milan, where she rose to Head of Sales for the Food & Beverage newspaper segment, before joining CIPI to lead its internationalization strategy. She holds a degree in Media, Communication and Advertising from IULM University and recently completed a post-experience Master’s in Marketing Communication from Westminster Business School in London.
Big Tower Group is seeking to acquire an Italian-based, entrepreneur or family-owned business operating in a stable and growing industry, with limited cyclical exposure and a fragmented competitive landscape. Target companies typically generate revenues between €5-40M, with EBITDA margins above 10% and low capital intensity. Their focus is on businesses with recurring revenues, low customer concentration, and clear growth potential, where current owners are looking to step back from day-to-day operations while ensuring business continuity and future growth through strengthened management and governance.
