As the son of Kenyan immigrants to the U.S., Vincent Wanene was raised by his grandmother on a small farm while his parents worked tirelessly to build a better life. He learned early on that entrepreneurship isn’t about headlines or glamour, it’s about resilience and responsibility. Vincent founded Baron Avenue to return to what first inspired him: the grit, purpose, and integrity of building something real and meaningful. His goal is to acquire and lead one exceptional U.S. company with care, carrying a founder’s legacy forward with respect and long-term vision. He is backed by Pacific Lake, WSC & Company, Heritage Holding, ETA Equity, Peterson Partners, Legate Partners, Martell Capital Partners, MER Search Capital, Futaleufu Partners, Paltus Capital, 9T Capital, and Sand Dollar Capital, among others.
Over the years, Vincent has worked alongside leadership teams in the U.S. and Europe to buy, grow, and operate businesses in industries such as hospitality, healthcare, telecommunications, and essential services. He built his career at top investment firms and financial institutions including Deutsche Bank, Lazard, and PAI Partners, where he partnered directly with business owners and management teams to strengthen operations, grow sales, and build lasting value. Most recently, as part of the founding team at Temerity Strategic Partners, a Chicago-based real estate investment firm, he helped develop partnerships with experienced operators to acquire, improve, and manage real estate assets in high-growth U.S. markets. Vincent holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
He is seeking to acquire an established, privately held U.S. business generating over $1M in annual profit, with at least three years of stable revenue and profit margins above 10%. The ideal company operates in a resilient, growing industry with steady demand and limited exposure to economic or technological disruption. He values businesses with recurring or repeat revenue, strong customer relationships, and a diversified client base.
