The idea for Astoria Growth Partners emerged naturally from the friendship between Prabhu Suresh and Ryan Holler, born out of chance, strengthened through shared travels and conversations about entrepreneurship, and grounded in a mutual belief that good businesses deserve good stewards. Believing that SMEs are the backbone of the American economy, they have partnered with international investors and advisors to acquire one exceptional U.S. business. Among their partners are Relay Investments, Next Coast Legacy, Shore Capital Partners, WSC & Company, Cerralvo Capital, Highland Creek Partners, Housatonic, The Cambria Group, CXP Capital Partners, Will Thorndike, and Mineola Search Partners.
Prabhu’s career spans technology, strategy, and investing, shaped by roles at leading global organizations. He began as a software engineer at Apple, focusing on iPhone performance and battery optimization, before joining McKinsey & Company, where he advised Fortune 500 and PE clients across the software, telecommunications, healthcare, and insurance sectors on operational and AI transformations, vendor strategy, and growth initiatives. An entrepreneur at heart, he co-founded QART Inc., a logistics startup connecting the U.S. and India, and later launched EverPresent Ventures, an investment firm focused on capital-efficient businesses modernizing traditional industries. He holds a JD-MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Ryan’s background bridges leadership, finance, and entrepreneurship, shaped by formative experiences in both the U.S. Air Force and investment banking. He began his professional journey as a Logistics Officer in the U.S. Air Force, where he led global operations and developed a deep appreciation for discipline, teamwork, and mission-driven leadership. Following his military service, he joined Piper Sandler, advising founders and entrepreneurs through the complex process of selling their companies. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Their search isn’t just about financials, it’s about people. They are drawn to companies where culture runs deep, teams trust each other, and employees feel valued. Astoria Growth Partners focuses on tech-enabled services, business services, and B2B software companies with recurring or re-occurring revenue models. Ideal partners have a diversified customer base, a proven record of growth, and sustainable margins, typically generating $2M+ in annual EBITDA.
