After a 23-month journey, Federico Usai and Derin Sonmez, the dynamic duo behind Aeqor Partners, have successfully completed the acquisition of two Italian companies in the facility management industry: Ga.Ma Service and Otto. Both companies are active in cleaning, concierge, and pest control services in the Milan area. The deal involved 16 investors, including SFClub, Cabiedes Capital, Moonbase Capital, and Legate Partners, among others. One of the sellers chose to reinvest in the new structure, which includes a roughly 50/50 mix of equity and leverage. The enterprise value was in the 5x EBITDA range.
Founded more than 20 years ago, Ga.Ma Service is an Italian provider of integrated facility services, specializing in commercial and residential cleaning, concierge and porter services, security, sanitation, pest control, waste management, and office maintenance. Serving residential condominiums, offices, and commercial properties, the company has built a strong reputation for reliability, operational efficiency, and high-quality service, supported by a trained workforce and modern equipment. Including Otto, the two companies have a combined EBITDA of approximately €2M.
With the acquisition of these two companies, Aeqor enters a sector characterized by constant demand for building management and maintenance services.
