Jeff Reynolds hasn’t followed a traditional career path, but each chapter has taught him something unique about teamwork, leadership, resilience, and what it takes to build something meaningful. From the baseball diamond to the cockpit of an A-10 Warthog, his journey has prepared him for his next mission: partnering with an exceptional U.S. business owner to write the next chapter of their company’s story. He launched WTR Capital with this objective and has secured the support of investors such as BK Growth, Legate Partners, Maven Equity Partners, Miramar Equity Partners, Peterson Partners, Trilogy, TTCER, Sam Hyde, Steuart Botchford, Ryan Turk, Cole Arledge, and Joe Aragona.
Jeff’s diverse background demonstrates a consistent record of success in high-stakes environments and a proven ability to adapt, learn, and excel. His career spans professional baseball, finance, military aviation, and non-profit leadership. He played four years at Harvard and was drafted by the New York Mets before joining Duke’s private investments team, where he evaluated opportunities in real estate, private equity, and venture capital. In 2016, he became a flight instructor and later joined Piedmont Airlines as a First Officer, before transitioning to fighter pilot in 2020. Over the past decade, after his son was diagnosed with Pearson Syndrome, he founded The Champ Foundation, deployed $2M in research funding, and helped drive treatments to the clinic.
He is now searching for a company with a history of profitability and strong fundamentals, loyal customer relationships built on trust and consistency, and a great leader ready to transition to someone who will honor their legacy. Ideally, the business will generate over $2M in annual earnings, demonstrate a strong record of growth, and have significant recurring revenue within the B2B services sector in a growing industry.
